Run Communications are excited to announce a new partnership with The Golf Foundation.
The Golf Foundation is a national charity, who work closely with partners to deliver golf to new faces across the UK, and work to change lives through the power of the sport. They help golf clubs grow their junior influence, help to deliver golf into primary and secondary schools, and work with impoverished communities and areas to help make a real impact to help wellbeing.
Run Communications will be working on The Golf Foundation’s ‘Unleash Your Drive’ campaign, which aims to get golf into every school in Great Britain & Ireland – that’s 32,000 schools, primary and secondary. The programme is aimed primarily at KS2, but available and adaptable for all ages. The programme uses 9 mental toughness tools to improve mental wellbeing and help the children to learn life skills that prepare them for life inside and outside the classroom.
Through a combination of social-first content and regional and national media features, Run Communications will aim to keep the Unleash Your Drive campaign story going whilst raising the profile of the great work that The Golf Foundation deliver.
CEO of The Golf Foundation, Brendon Pyle, said: “We are really excited to have started working with Run Communications, we love the fact they share our passion for teaching young people transferrable skills through sport.
“We can’t wait to put Run’s industry knowledge and expertise to good use over the coming months as we raise the profile of Unleash Your Drive.”
Founder and Managing Director of Run Communications, Steve Chisholm said: “Improving the lives of young people through sport is something we’re incredibly passionate about, so any opportunity to work with an organisation like The Golf Foundation is one we relish.
“After a tough Covid pandemic, children’s mental health provisions have never been more important and the ‘Unleash Your Drive’ campaign will give children the tools they need to have the mental resilience in any aspect of life as they grow up.”
