09 Feb 2021

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Activity Alliance to increase its profile within the sport, leisure and third sectors and raise awareness of disabled people’s real life stories of being active.

Activity Alliance is the leading voice for disabled people within the sport and physical activity sector, and we will provide strategic media and PR support across a remit of key milestone events.

Sarah Brown-Fraser, Activity Alliance’s Marketing and Communications Manager said:

“The team at Run Communications have a genuine passion to get more people in society active. After a rigorous process to shortlist, we chose Run based on their exemplary connections within influential media brands to help us convey our message. They have displayed a clear understanding of the challenges facing disabled people and demonstrated innovative approaches through media activity and social to help us achieve our strategic aims.”

Steve Chisholm, Founder of Run Communications said:

“This is been a tremendously difficult year for everyone but disabled people have been affected disproportionally by the pandemic. Many disabled people want to be more active but Covid has created even more challenges for them to do so within their communities. We will help shine a light on what more must be done to support disabled people to be and stay active.”
